Online Exam Rules for LSET Candidates

To maintain fairness and integrity during the LSET online exams, all candidates must adhere to the following guidelines

General Guidelines

  • The exam must be taken on a laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection.
  • Log in at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • The exam will start at the scheduled time.

Exam Environment Rules

  • Sit in a quiet, well-lit room with minimal distractions.
  • No external devices such as phones, smartwatches, or additional screens are allowed.
  • No one else should be present in the room during the exam.

Conduct During the Exam

  • No plagiarism or copying – Any attempt to cheat will result in immediate disqualification.
  • No external assistance – Books, notes, or online resources are not allowed unless explicitly mentioned.
  • No switching between tabs or applications – The system will track suspicious activity and flag violations.
  • No communication – Avoid talking, messaging, or using any form of external communication during the exam.

Submission & Completion

  • All answers must be submitted before the time expires.
  • Unsubmitted or incomplete answers will not be considered.
  • If time runs out, the system will automatically submit your exam.

Technical Guidelines

  • Ensure a stable internet connection to avoid disruptions.
  • Use the recommended browser and disable unnecessary applications.
  • If you experience technical issues, report them immediately to the LSET support team.

Consequences of Rule Violations

  • Immediate disqualification for cheating, misconduct, or rule violations.
  • No retakes allowed for candidates found violating the rules.
  • LSET reserves the right to withhold exam results in case of misconduct.
